Ken Gosney Photography opened their doors in September of 2004. After just a few months at their first location, they were able to expand to a new studio on West Main Street in downtown Wilmington, Ohio. After many years in that location, they started a new chapter in both their lives and business. In early 2010 they downsized their Wilmington office, and moved into their current location at 21 South South Street. It was at this time that the Gosney family relocated to Greenville, Ohio, and began the process of opening a second studio. In the summer of 2010 they opened a second location in the historic Donovan Robeson home, located at 330 West Fourth Street.

Ken Gosney Photography is now delighted to offer two locations that are centrally located to most of the major cities in Ohio.

Both studios specialize in wedding photography, and offer a full line of wedding invitations and accessories. They serve a diverse clientele, with additional offerings of family, children, and senior portraits. They are proud to provide custom framing and other photo gift items as well.

Ken Gosney Photography is owned and operated by Ken and Teresa Gosney. The Gosneys were lifelong Clinton County residents until their 2010 move to Greenville, Ohio. The couple was married in 1996. They welcomed their first daughter, McKena Grace in 2004, and were blessed with their second daughter Kendyn Faith in 2008.

Both the Wilmington and Greenville operations will continue to provide high quality photography to all of their clients at affordable prices.

Ken Gosney
Owner-Photographer

Ken Gosney’s infatuation with photography began while he was still in high school. Originally from Blanchester, he took pictures for the high school yearbook. He did so well that he found himself invited to shoot his first wedding at the age of 17. After graduating in 1995, he spent five years in retail management and continued to freelance, doing photo jobs for friends and family. He always knew that one day he would have his own studio. In 2000 he took the plunge and enrolled in the Ohio Institute of Photography in Kettering, Ohio. During that time he also applied his freelance experience to studio work, spending four years as a manager and head photographer for a Dayton photography studio. He graduated from the Institute in January of 2004 and opened Ken Gosney Photography in September of the same year.

Ken takes a lot of pride in his work and running of the studio. He is a very hard worker with a passion and drive not seen by too many people these days. He sets his goals very high, and diligently works to achieve these goals. Ken is a skilled photographer who captures photographs that best represent his clients. He brings a style of photography that is fun, carefree, and non-stressful.

Teresa was raised in Blanchester and met Ken in yearbook class in 1994. Her previous experience in the fields of customer service, accounting, and management help her provide a variety of services and assistance to Ken. Teresa received her photographic retouching training from her husband, Ken.

Supporting Staff

Niki Coyne

Niki’s role at the studio is to assist Ken on the many weddings that he has each year. She aids with posing of the clients, watching for the small details that cannot be overlooked, and photographs each ceremony and reception. She provides the necessary help that Ken needs so that he can dedicate his time to the bride, groom and other important members of the wedding. Niki’s other contribution to the studio is her ability to create the images that Ken desires through the cropping, color correction, and retouching of the many images. She takes the images that Ken creates on the wedding day, and brings out their full potential through the unique style of computer imaging that she was trained with by Ken.

A 1997 graduate of Wilmington High School, Niki earned a degree from Wilmington College in 2002. She and her husband Ben are the proud parents of Jacob and Addison. The Coyne family resides in the Wilmington area.

McKena Gosney
Future Owner and Daddy's Little Helper

McKena is the daughter of Ken and Teresa, and at the age of four already thinks she runs the show. She says that when she grows up she will not only run the studio, but be a “baby Doctor” as well.

McKena loves to have her picture taken by her Daddy, so you will see a lot of her shots in our portfolio. She is a true model!

It is Ken and Teresa’s hope that one day they can pass the studio on to their children.
